Our
first cottage, with its low-slung log exterior (brown,
of course!), has always been a great favorite! Located
only 20 feet from the river bank, there’s a fully
equipped kitchen with everything you need to cook a
gourmet meal (microwave, toaster, coffee pot, can
opener, blender, etc.)
 After
that meal, sit back and put your feet up in front of the
gas log fireplace, and watch cable TV or a DVD movie.
Sleep
in the coziness of a queen-size log bed, and if you have
guests
there's a full-size futon as well.
Ah,
the bathroom! A gorgeous whirlpool tub and walk-in
shower, illuminated by a glass block wall—beautiful and
functional!
The
screened-in porch offers a stress-(and bug-free)
evening’s relaxation: ceiling fan, tables, chairs. What
more could you want? (Well, if you want a drink, BYOB, since Cleburne is a dry
county!)
By the
way, for the health and comfort of all our guests, the
Brown, like the Rainbow, is non-smoking. Both of
our cabins are also air-conditioned. Pets are
welcomed here – we love ‘em!
